Fall…

Fall is finally here.

I know this because the leaves on my fig tree are finally turning yellow, and are falling.

These leaves give cover and hide the soil,at the bottom of the tree, as winter rolls in.

Every year I enjoy the transition and the anticipation of fresh rain, some snow, lots of cold air, and comfort.

Today the sun shines smoothly on the back and front yard. This kind of warmth of sunshine tells a happy story. 

True story of being thankful and very happy to be here to enjoy days like these!

I will leave you with a ball of fuzzy yarn by the side of the fig tree.
